Head Coach Eric Park

Head Coach Eric Park

Born in Dublin, Ohio where he played minor hockey through the CAHA organization.  Eric moved away when he was 15 to play in Dayton who had the only tier I program in Ohio.  He captained the team to the National Tournament in Anchorage, Alaska.  After the team folded the next year, he moved again to the Pittsburgh Hornet organization, which played in the Michigan National Hockey League.  For his senior year he lived in Toledo, playing for the Tier II Toledo Cherokee winning CSHL league and playoff Championships, eventually losing in the National Semifinals in New Jersey.  He moved once again playing for the Tier II Billings Bulls of the AFHL.  He led them to the league Championships, playoff Champions and National Semifinalists.  Tired of moving he enrolled at Ohio State, while starting his coaching career as an assistant with the Columbus Crush Jr. B Hockey team.  The Crush qualified for the Playoffs every season, winning one league championship, making it to the National Semifinals.  Eric is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he met his wife Carrie.  They reside in Dublin, Ohio with their three children, Mia 5, Morgan 4 and Trevor 18 months (whose favorite sport is “Hoc”).  Eric and Carrie own a Goddard School in Canal Winchester, Ohio.

Coach Scott Bricker

Coach Scott Bricker

Born in Toledo, Ohio, Scott has enjoyed success as a player at all levels of hockey from youth hockey through juniors and college.  Playing for the Toledo Cherokee junior hockey club he won several league titles, a national runner up and, in his last year, 1998, the USA Hockey national championship.   In his senior year at Eastern he was recognized as a leader by being named one of the team captains.  In all 7 years of juniors and college, his teams went to the national playoffs.
Scott Coaching philosophy focuses on establishing team chemistry “it’s the most crucial ingredient for a successful season.”  Skilled individuals in combination with team concepts and sportsmanlike attitudes are a guaranteed formula for success.  Consistent teaching of the game on and off the ice with emphasis on team cohesion will deliver substantial rewards for the team as a whole as well as individual achievement.
Scott believes that a team’s players should be respected for being responsible for themselves, playing cohesively and displaying good sportsmanship at all times.  A game’s final score is not always indicative of a team’s performance and performances will be remembered long after the scores are forgotten.
