Memorial Tournament Driving

The first fundraising opportunity of the year is associated with the Memorial Golf Tournament in late May or early June.  We are contracted to provide van drivers to shuttle spectators from the Jerome parking lot to a home on the golf course.  Drivers and Captains are needed during the day and evening, Wednesday through Sunday of that week.  Players cannot drive the vans, but can serve as shift Captains. The captains responsibilities are helping people into and out of the vans, keeping contact with van drivers, selling raffle tickets and procuring tips.  The tips made by all drivers and captains are divided up into a per hour rate for the week and applied to your player's season fees.   Last year each hour worked earned $17!  Watch for sign up information in early May.  


Irish Festival Beverage Sales

A limited number of time slots are available for selling soft drinks and water at a Dublin Irish Festival tent in August. A lottery is held, usually at the association meeting in June or July, to determine which families will get to work these time slots, since there is more demand than opportunity. The money earned goes toward your player's season fees. Watch for updates.


Walk-A-Thon

The Walk-A-Thon is a mandatory door to door solicitation of donations that takes place two Sunday's in October.  All players are expected to participate in this event.  This is our largest fundraiser of the year!  A handout containing the three varsity team schedules and coupons to local businesses is given to those who donate.  Adult drivers are also needed to transport the players and collect money.  There is no compensation for driving.  The funds raised at this event go into the general fund.  Money toward your player's fees can be earned by selling ads or coupons for the handout!  Watch for dates and times in September.  


Sponsorship Sales

Another way to earn money toward your player's fees is to sell sponsorships for the Walk-A-Thon handout, the varsity team posters and the season program.  Twenty percent of the Sponsorship Package price will go toward your player's season fees.  Left click the graphic to the left for pricing and contact information. Coupon or ad sales that appear on the Walk-a-thon handout must be in by the first week of October to allow time for printing, so let's get out there and sell early this year!

Kroger Rewards Program

By registering your Kroger Rewards Card with the DHSHA, you can earn credit toward your player's season fees. Sign up starts April 1, even though you can sign up anytime after this date, we encourage you to sign up early to begin earning rewards. All current participants must re-enroll annualy in order to earn funds during the upcoming year.

Alumni of the program can contribute to the Allgeyer fund by continuing to use their DHSHA registered Kroger Rewards Card. Your rewards will be used to insure the Allgeyer fund is available to players who are not able to afford their season's fees. Thank you for considering this option.
