Welcome to Dublin High School Hockey

Welcome to Dublin High School Hockey

This page is meant to get you started with the Dublin High School Hockey Association (Association) and give incoming families information that is helpful to learning about the Association.

The Dublin High School Hockey Association is the booster organization put together to support and promote high school hockey in all Dublin schools.  The Association works with the Dublin City School district to fund most of the costs associated with the hockey programs.

Teams:

Currently, the Association supports 4 teams.  Each team has a page on this web site and has a calendar that you can sign up for alerts on.

     Coffman Varsity

     Jerome Varsity

     Scioto Varsity

     Jerome JV

     Coffman JV

Costs:

As of the 2022-2023 season, the following is a list of costs associated with playing hockey for one of the teams.

Fees / Year:

  • Dublin High School Hockey Association Fee:  $2,500 – this covers the cost of ice, uniforms, referees, tournaments, etc. – Payment plans are available with monthly payments starting in July.
  • JV Players: players who make a JV team receive a $500 registration credit or refund.* Subject to team roster
  • Dublin School District Pay-to-Play Fee: $75 – this fee is paid directly to the school district through the SPS EzPay system.
  • USA Hockey Registration: $46 – All players need to be registered with USA Hockey
  • Tournament Travel: each team typically goes to 1 or 2 out of town tournaments / season, so there are travel costs (hotel, etc.) associated with these.
  • Team Specific Fees: teams may have extra activities (such as team dinners) and there are additional costs associated with these activities.

All fees must be paid before tryouts in early November.

Fundraising:

We understand that hockey is a very expensive sport.  To that end, there are opportunities throughout the year that allow families to participate and reduce their Association fees through fundraising.  Fundraising completed before the season starts counts for the current season.  Fundraising after varsity tryouts in November counts to your fees for the next season.  Please see the Fundraising page for more detailed information.
