Every Dublin Irish player started somewhere. Future Irish is where that somewhere begins — a program for youth players who are already on the ice, or who are just thinking about lacing up for the first time. We're building the next generation of Irish hockey, and we want you in it.

A hockey community that runs deeper than one season. Future Irish exists to grow the game in the Dublin area — connecting youth players and families with each other and with the high school program they'll one day be part of. The more kids we develop now, the stronger the Irish become for years to come.



Future Irish is focused on three things:

• Building real relationships between youth players, their families, and the Dublin Irish program
• Growing the number of kids playing hockey in our area before they reach high school age
• Developing skills and hockey IQ so players arrive at the high school level ready to compete

Future Irish is open to any child below high school age who is currently playing hockey — or who is simply curious about it. You don't need to live in a specific district, play for a specific club, or have any experience at all. If you want to be Irish someday, this is where you start.

When we have enough interested players, Future Irish fields a Spring pond hockey team at the Mite, Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam levels. We participate in either the Chiller Perani's Pond Hockey League or Battery Hockey Academy's 3v3 League — a fun, lower-pressure environment that's perfect for building skills and getting to know your future teammates.

We host Future Irish skate events throughout the season where youth players get to share the ice with Dublin Irish high school players and coaches. It's a great way to experience the program firsthand — no pressure, just hockey.
