Summer league will start on June 9th. Registration is open and you can register here.


Summer lifting will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 11AM to noon in the stadium weight room. These sessions are optional and do not require registration.

  • Full-body training split with emphasis on strength, power, and hockey specific injury mitigation.
  • This plan is meant to compliment the student-athletes in their sport and if any student-athlete is ever looking to do more they should communicate that with Mike Filipowski.
  • Training will start June 4th and run through the season. Student-athletes should try and miss as little as possible to maximize athletic improvement.

Notes from Head Strength & Conditioning Coach Michael Filipowski

  • Weight Room Priorities
  • Form > Anything. We will always make sure you can perform the exercise safely before increasing weight.
  • Effort, effort, effort. I don't care if you have 10 years or 10 minutes of lifting experience, all I ask of you is effort. If you don't want to try and don't want to work hard with your teammates, don't show up to lifting. This time is dedicated to helping student-athletes grow physically, mentally, and emotionally.
  • No phones. Athletes are expected to remain off of their phones in the weight room. If they need to communicate via phone, simply ask a coach. Be present, be a great spotter, be a great teammate.
  • Be present. Be where you are and be engaged. Show up ready to work. Be early, be on time, don't be late.



Package information will be coming soon and include: bag, jerseys, pant shell, socks, and a team jacket.
